On December 23-24, 2025, Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna, by Office of International Relations, Office of the President, had the honor of welcoming Associate Prof. Graeme Wend-Walker from the Department of English, Texas State University. He delivered special lectures to students from the Faculty of Business Administration and Liberal Arts on the topic of “Etiquette in English-Speaking Countries” and to students from the Faculty of Engineering on the topic of “Cross-Cultural Communication in English.” These lectures were held in Room 202, Chalermprakiat 52nd Anniversary Building, and the Conference Room, YT4 Building, Faculty of Engineering.

The objectives of these lectures were to enhance students' understanding of cross-cultural communication, provide expert insights on best practices, and share valuable experiences to help develop their communication skills, adaptability, and appropriate mindset for working with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.

This project was supported under the "Development of Cross-Cultural Communication Course Management" initiative, funded by the Eurasia Foundation (One Asia). The project was led by Assistant Professor Dr. Supornphan Komchiap and focused on equipping students with essential skills for entering the international arena.

This event was a significant opportunity to foster both academic and personal development among students, preparing them for work in diverse environments and supporting their sustainable progress toward excellence at an international level.
