Meeting with ISA-CAS, The People's Republic of China

On July 15, 2025, Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna (RMUTL), by Office of International Relations, hosted a bilateral meeting with representatives from the Institute of Subtropical Agriculture, Chinese Academy of Sciences (ISA-CAS), People's Republic of China.

The meeting was honored by the presence of Asst. Prof. Pisit Wimonthanasit, Vice President for Planning, Policy, and Strategy, who presided over the session. He was joined by Asst. Prof. Dr. Piyamas Tandcharoenrat, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Agricultural Technology; Dr. Sakuntala Saijai, Assistant Dean; Assoc. Prof. Sunthorn Witthayakhun, lecturer of the same faculty; and staff from the Office of International Relations. The meeting was held at the Sompor Meeting Room, 2nd Floor, President’s Office Building, RMUTL.

The ISA-CAS delegation included the following experts:

  1. Assoc. Prof. Qiongxian Yan – Dietary nutrients and gut health of ruminants

  2. Prof. Shaoxun Tang – Untraditional feed resources development and utilization technologies

  3. Prof. Zhengmiao Deng – Resource utilization and propagation of aquatic plants

  4. Ms. Liwei Xu – Development and application of analytical technology for nutritional metabolites in livestock

  5. Ms. Zixin Liu – Healthy breeding of cows and nutritional regulation of milk quality

This meeting served as a platform for broad academic dialogue, where both sides exchanged perspectives and explored potential pathways for academic collaboration in the fields of agricultural science and technology. The discussions aimed to lay the groundwork for future partnerships in teaching, research, and international knowledge exchange, ultimately contributing to long-term academic development in a sustainable manner.
