Enhancing English Language Skills for the Workplace Workshop

On July 17–18, 2025, Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna (RMUTL), through the Office of International Relations, Office of the President, organized a hands-on training workshop entitled “Enhancing English Language Skills for the Workplace” at Room 402, 4th Floor, General Education Building, RMUTL Main Campus.

The opening ceremony was graciously presided over by Asst. Prof. Somkiat Wongpanich, Vice President for Administration, with a warm welcome and introductory remarks by Asst. Prof. Dr. Siraprapa Chainetr, Director of the Office of the President, who emphasized the importance of English language skills in today’s professional landscape.

This training aimed to enhance the English language proficiency of RMUTL’s support staff, enabling them to apply their skills effectively in real work scenarios. It also sought to promote well-rounded professional development and increase the university’s competitive edge on the international stage.

The university was honored to welcome two distinguished speakers, both experts in teaching English for workplace communication:

1. Asst. Prof. Thammanoon Bupphate, Lecturer, College of Integrated and Science Technology

2. Ms. Sumana Soratiwa, Lecturer, Faculty of Business Administration and Liberal Arts

A total of 16 support staff from various departments participated in the workshop. The sessions were conducted in a friendly and engaging atmosphere, full of practical knowledge and activities that encouraged active learning and real-world application.This initiative marks another important step in RMUTL’s commitment to the continuous and sustainable development of its personnel. By investing in language skills and international work readiness, the university lays a strong foundation for advancing toward global excellence.
