On 29 December 2025, Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna (RMUTL), through the Office of International Relations, Office of the President, held an online meeting with a delegation from Quzhou College of Technology (QZCT), People’s Republic of China, to discuss approaches for academic cooperation and international exchange.
The meeting was chaired by Associate Professor Dr. Thitibhorn Phantachang, Assistant President of Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna, and was attended by Assistant Professor Dr. Nopporn Patcharaprakiti, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, along with staff members from the International Relations Division.The QZCT delegation was led by university executives and representatives from the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange, the Faculty of Information Engineering, and industry partners, as well as coordinators from Beijing Huatec Information Technology Co., Ltd. (HUATEC).
During the meeting, both parties agreed to implement a short-term student exchange program offering 10 scholarships for RMUTL students in Electrical Automation Technology and related fields. The program will be conducted for a period of one month, scheduled between March and April 2026. The discussion also covered details regarding travel arrangements, accommodation, student supervision, and the preparation of relevant documentation.
This meeting marks an important step in strengthening academic cooperation and exchange between Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna and Quzhou College of Technology. It is expected to lead to concrete development of international educational collaboration activities and further enhance the potential of students and staff on the global stage.
