Meeting with Singapore Polytechnic (SP) in Preparation for the Learning Express (LEX) 2026 Program

From 15–17 December 2025, Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna (RMUTL), through the Office of International Relations, hosted a delegation from Singapore Polytechnic (SP), Singapore, as part of the preparatory activities for the Learning Express 2026 Workshop Program. The preparatory meeting was presided over by Associate Professor Dr. Thitibhorn Phantachang, Assistant to the President, together with the project’s organizing committee.

The delegation from Singapore Polytechnic was led by Mr. Soh Chee Meng, Senior Lecturer, School of Architecture and Built Environment (Team Leader), accompanied by Ms. Lee Mee Fa, Associate Lecturer, and Mr. Richard Ng Weng Chuen, Associate Lecturer, from the School of Architecture and Built Environment. The delegation participated in planning discussions with the project committee to prepare for the Learning Express 2026 Workshop Program, scheduled to be held from 30 March to 10 April 2026 at Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna.

In addition, the delegation visited and surveyed the Innovation Room, which will serve as the main venue for project activities, as well as inspected accommodation facilities at Get Zleep Hotel, which will be used to accommodate SP lecturers and students throughout the duration of the program.

On this occasion, the delegation also conducted site visits to the target communities designated for the project’s field-based learning activities, namely Ban Ton Nae Noi, San Pa Tong District; Ban Nam Ton, Mae Wang District; and Ban Luang Tai, Doi Saket District, Chiang Mai Province. These visits aimed to enhance understanding of the local community context and to ensure effective preparation for the implementation of community-based learning activities.
