Learning Express 2025 in Collaboration with Singapore Polytechnic

On March 25, 2025, Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna (RMUTL), through the International Relations Office of the President’s Office, held the opening ceremony for the Learning Express 2025 workshop, in collaboration with Singapore Polytechnic (SP), Singapore. The event took place at the Innovation Room, 6th Floor, 56th Anniversary Building, RMUTL, and was presided over by Dr. Aksaja Duangsupasin, Vice President for Student Affairs and Alumni Relations. The ceremony was also attended by Asst. Prof. Dr. Thitibhorn PhantaChang, Dr. Sasiphat Sankolkit, Assistant to the President, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kanthana Ditkaew, Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration and Liberal Arts.

Learning Express 2025 is being held for the 9th time, with the objective of promoting student activities between the two institutions through interdisciplinary teamwork. The program provides students with hands-on experience in developing social innovation for communities by applying design thinking, teamwork, problem-solving, and English communication skills in a multicultural setting.

This year, the program takes place from March 24 to April 4, 2025, at Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna, as well as designated community locations, including Ban Don Luang, Lamphun Province; Ban Choeng Doi; and Ban Ton Nae Noi, Chiang Mai Province.

The participants for this year’s program include:

• 30 students from Singapore Polytechnic

• 3 facilitators from Singapore Polytechnic

• 3 special guest speakers from RMUTL

• 9 facilitators from RMUTL

• 3 observer lecturers

• 4 personnel from the International Relations Office

Learning Express 2025 serves as a crucial opportunity to enhance students’ academic skills, critical thinking, and cross-cultural collaboration, fostering a strong partnership between the two institutions while contributing to sustainable community development.
