Meeting with CableX, Taiwan

On November 28, 2024, the Faculty of Engineering and Office of International Relations of Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna (RMUTL) held a meeting with representatives from CableX, Taiwan, led by Mr. James Wu, General Manager. The meeting was presided over by Assistant Professor Pisit Vimonthanasit, Vice President for Planning, Policy, and Strategy. Also in attendance were Assistant Professor Dr.Thitiporn Pantachang, Assistant to the President, faculty members from the Department of Electrical Engineering, and staff from Office of International Relations. The meeting took place in the Kasalong Meeting Room, 2nd Floor, Office of the President Building, RMUTL.

The discussion focused on sending students from the Faculty of Engineering in the fields of Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering to participate in internships, cooperative education programs, and the "School in Factory" project at CableX. There was also potential for expanding the program to include students from the Accounting program under the Faculty of Business Administration and Liberal Arts. Both the university and CableX plan to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in the near future.
