On August 19, 2026, Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna (RMUTL), by the Office of International Relations, held an online meeting with representatives from Minghsin University of Science and Technology (MUST), Taiwan, and the Taiwan International Personnel Exchange Center, Thailand – Chiang Mai Office. The meeting was chaired by Associate Professor Dr. Thitibhorn Phantachang, with the participation of university administrators, faculty members from the Faculty of Engineering, and International Relations Office staff via Google Meet.
The meeting was held to discuss opportunities for developing academic collaboration between RMUTL and MUST under the MUST 2027 Spring Semester Program, which aims to provide students with opportunities to participate in overseas learning and exchange experiences, while enhancing their academic competencies and international skills.
The participants also exchanged views on potential future collaborative activities, particularly in the field of Civil Engineering, including student and faculty exchanges, curriculum development, and joint academic activities. In addition, both institutions discussed plans to develop and sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to establish a framework for concrete collaboration in education, research, and personnel exchange in the future.
This collaboration marks another important step in expanding RMUTL’s international academic network and creating opportunities for students and faculty members to enhance their knowledge, skills, and global perspectives through academic exchange with a leading higher education institution in Taiwan. It also promotes the exchange of knowledge, expertise, and innovation, laying a strong foundation for building a meaningful, long-term, and sustainable partnership between Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna and Minghsin University of Science and Technology.
