1st Meeting on the Formulation of the International Strategy and the Monitoring of Cooperation with Overseas Institutions

On 22 December 2025, Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna (RMUTL), through the Office of International Relations, Office of the President, organized the 1st Meeting on the Formulation of the International Strategy and the Monitoring of Cooperation with Overseas Institutions. The meeting was held at Kasalong Meeting Room, 2nd Floor, Office of the President Building, RMUTL.
The meeting was presided over by Associate Professor Dr. Pracha Yuenyongkul, Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs. Participants also included Associate Professor Dr. Thitibhorn Phantachang, Assistant to the President; the Deputy Director of the Academic Resources and Information Technology; as well as lecturers and staff responsible for international relations at faculty and college, together with coordinator from the Office of International Relations.

The objective of the meeting was to present the policy framework and operational direction for the university’s international cooperation for Fiscal Year 2026, along with reports on past performance and international strategic plans of each faculty and college. The meeting also aimed to ensure that international affairs operations are conducted in a unified and systematic manner. In addition, participants jointly discussed future directions for the development of international relations, clarified procedures and processes related to key areas such as the establishment of Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) with overseas institutions, the admission of international students, and the development of a cooperation database system to enhance management efficiency and performance monitoring.

This meeting serves as an important mechanism in driving the international strategy of Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna, ensuring alignment with the university’s mission in all dimensions. It is expected to lead to the systematic and effective development of international partnerships, generate tangible outcomes, strengthen academic collaboration and international exchange, and ultimately support the university’s progress toward global engagement in a stable and sustainable manner.
