Meeting with AI Experts from the United States

On October 31, 2025, Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna (RMUTL), by Office of International Relations, held a meeting with Mr. Gregory Eoyang and Mrs. Patricia Eoyang, Artificial Intelligence (AI) experts from the United States, to discuss and exchange ideas on potential academic collaboration in the field of Artificial Intelligence.

The meeting was presided over by Asst. Prof. Dr. Anon Namin, Vice President of RMUTL, and honored by the presence of Professor Emeritus Aree Wiboonpongse, Distinguished Member of the University Council; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Teerasak Uratchananon, Vice President; Asst. Prof. Phisit Wimonthanisit, Vice President; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thitiporn Phantachang, Assistant to the President; together with university executives, faculty members, and staff from the Office of International Relations. The meeting took place at the Sompor Meeting Room, 2nd Floor, Office of the President Building, RMUTL, Chiang Mai.

The discussion focused on the exchange of knowledge and exploration of future collaboration in Artificial Intelligence through international academic networks. The initiative aims to enhance the technological capabilities of students and staff, foster an international perspective within the university community, and promote RMUTL’s commitment to academic excellence and innovation.

This meeting marks another important step for Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna in expanding its cooperation with international AI experts and driving the university toward innovation, technological advancement, and sustainable digital transformation.
