On this occasion, Assistant Professor Dr. Siraprapa Chainetr, Vice President of RMUTL, delivered congratulatory remarks to mark India’s 80th Independence Day. She highlighted the long-standing and cordial relations between Thailand and India, which are rooted in strong cultural connections and have continued to develop across various areas, particularly education, science and technology, innovation, trade, investment, and human resource development.
She emphasized that education and human resource development are key drivers in strengthening bilateral relations in the future. Enhancing cooperation among universities and educational institutions in Thailand and India can create greater opportunities for student and staff exchanges, skills development, research, science, technology, and innovation. Such cooperation will also help prepare young people for the workforce and a rapidly changing global economy.
Furthermore, stronger collaboration between the education sector and the private sector can contribute to the promotion of trade, investment, entrepreneurship, and employment opportunities, generating mutual benefits for both countries. Chiang Mai and Northern Thailand can also play an important role as a bridge connecting Thailand and India through cooperation in education, culture, technology, and business.
RMUTL places great importance on building and strengthening international networks by promoting the exchange of knowledge, experiences, and skills among students and staff, as well as developing cooperation in academics, research, science, technology, and innovation. These efforts aim to create new opportunities and support sustainable human resource development.
The participation in this celebration served as an important opportunity to strengthen relationships and expand networks between Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna and Indian organizations and institutions.
