On 16 July 2026, the Office of International Relations, in collaboration with the Faculty of Business Administration and Liberal Arts, Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna (RMUTL), welcomed exchange students from Chongqing Technology and Business University (CTBU) and Chongqing University of Technology (CQUT), People's Republic of China, for a courtesy visit to the University's executives. The meeting was held at the Rajarat Meeting Room, Faculty of Business Administration and Liberal Arts.
The exchange students were warmly welcomed by Assistant Professor Somkiat Wongpanich, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Research, and Academic Services, who delivered a welcome address and words of encouragement. Joining the reception were Associate Professor Dr. Thitibhorn Phantachang, Assistant to the President, Associate Professor Dr. Kanthana Ditkaew, Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration and Liberal Arts, faculty members, and staff from the Office of International Relations. As a token of welcome, the University executives presented RMUTL student activity shirts to the exchange students to commemorate their participation and warmly welcome them to the RMUTL community.
As part of the exchange programme, eight students from Chongqing Technology and Business University (CTBU) will study in the International Business Management Programme for one semester, while eight students from Chongqing University of Technology (CQUT) will join the English for International Communication (EIC) Programme for one month.
The welcoming ceremony reflects RMUTL's strong commitment to strengthening academic partnerships with international partner universities while promoting educational, linguistic, and cultural exchange. Through such initiatives, the University aims to enrich students' international learning experiences, broaden their global perspectives, and equip them with the knowledge and skills needed to become responsible and sustainable global citizens.
