The meeting was held at Leelawadee Meeting Room, RMUTL, Chiang Mai.

The main objective of the meeting was to introduce and provide information about the NTact Base Taiwan–Thailand (Chiang Mai Office), a Taiwan International Personnel Exchange Cooperation Center in Thailand. The center is coordinated by National Pingtung University of Science and Technology, in collaboration with partner institutions including National Sun Yat-sen University and Chaoyang University of Technology. The initiative serves as a key platform to strengthen collaboration between higher education institutions and industrial sectors in Taiwan and Thailand.

In addition, detailed information was presented on scholarship opportunities under the Taiwan’s International Industrial Talents Education Special Program (INTENSE Program), a flagship initiative of the Taiwanese government aimed at developing high-potential international talents to meet the demands of global industries.

Furthermore, the meeting discussed future collaboration opportunities, including a proposal for RMUTL to consider establishing Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) with the aforementioned Taiwanese partner universities. This initiative is expected to expand academic cooperation and enhance access to scholarships and international opportunities for students and staff.
