On 8 April 2026, students from Singapore Polytechnic, Singapore; Nanhua University, Taiwan; and Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna (RMUTL), who participated in the Learning Express 2026 (LeX 2026) workshop, jointly organized a Gallery Walk exhibition showcasing community-based innovation projects at the RMUTL canteen area. The event was attended by university executives, faculty members, and staff.

During the exhibition, students presented their work in six groups, covering three key themes based on target communities. These included Ban Ton Haen Noi (Flash Flooding), which focused on analyzing the causes and impacts of flash floods and designing risk reduction and response solutions such as early warning systems, community communication, and land management. Ban Nam Ton (Pottery) aimed to enhance local wisdom in pottery by adding value through product design, branding, and marketing strategies to improve competitiveness in today’s market. Ban Luang Tai (Tai Lue Cotton Textiles) focused on promoting the identity of Tai Lue cotton textiles through product design and development aligned with modern market demands, while preserving cultural uniqueness and expanding access to new customer segments.

All projects reflected students’ creativity, international teamwork, and their ability to apply the Design Thinking process to systematically analyze problems and develop sustainable solutions.

On this occasion, Associate Professor Dr. Pracha Yuenyongkul, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Student Affairs, presided over the closing ceremony and expressed his appreciation for the participants’ dedication and achievements. He also emphasized the importance of experiential learning and international exchange.

This exhibition represents a significant outcome of the Learning Express 2026 program, highlighting students’ potential to create meaningful innovations for community development. It also serves as an important platform for strengthening international academic collaboration, paving the way for future advancements in education, research, and sustainable learning partnerships.
