Meeting with Nord University

On February 26, 2025, Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna, by Office of International Relations, held a meeting with Nord University, Norway, via Zoom Meeting to discuss academic collaboration. The meeting took place from 15:00-16:30 Thailand time, or 09:00-10:30 Norway time.

The meeting was honored by the presence of Asst. Prof. Thitibhorn Phantachang, Assistant to the President of RMUTL, as the chairperson, along with university executives, faculty members from all faculties and colleges, and staff from the International Affairs Office. Representatives from Nord University included Assoc. Prof. Gøril Ursin, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing and Health Sciences, Prof. Gørill Haugan, and Prof. Marcel Köhler from the same faculty.

The discussions focused on potential academic collaborations, including joint research projects, student and faculty exchange programs, knowledge development, the establishment of the Health Promotion Research Centre, and partnership opportunities for applying for grants from the Erasmus+ funding programme to support academic activities between the two universities.

Additionally, representatives from Nord University are scheduled to visit RMUTL on April 1, 2025, to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for academic collaboration. This marks a significant step in strengthening academic partnerships between the two institutions.
