On December 4, 2024, Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna (RMUTL) by Office of International Relations hosted a meeting to discuss the organization of the Teachers' English Development Programme in collaboration with Education New Zealand Manapou ki te Ao and the University of Otago, New Zealand.
The meeting was presided over by Asst. Prof. Pisit Wimonthanasit, Vice President for Planning, Policy, and Strategy. Joining the discussion were Asst. Prof. Dr. Anon Namin, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Research, and Academic Services; Asst. Prof. Dr. Thitiporn Phanthachang, Assistant to the President; Dr. Paviya Raknim, Assistant to the President; representatives from faculties and colleges of RMUTL, and staff from the International Relations Office.
The Teachers' English Development Programme is a project proposed by Education New Zealand Manapou ki te Ao and the University of Otago to enhance English proficiency for university instructors. The programme is designed to improve teaching skills in response to the increasing educational demands in the Greater Mekong Subregion.
