The meeting with representatives from Beijing Huatec Information Technology Co., Ltd (HUATEC)

  On April 22, 2567 , Office of International Relations, Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna organized the meeting with representatives from Beijing Huatec Information Technology Co., Ltd (HUATEC) of the People's Republic of China, led by Mr. Zhang Yu, CEO of Huatec, Ms. Liu Tianjiao, General Manager, and Ms. Luo Sha Sha, Director of Asian Business Strategy. The meeting was honored by Associate Professor Pisit Wimonsitthi, Vice President for Planning, Policy, and Strategy, who chaired the meeting, along with Associate Professor Dr. Teerasak Urarajananont, Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs, Associate Professor Somkiat Wongpanit, Vice President for Administration, Associate Professor Dr.Thitiporn Phanthuchang, Assistant to the President, and other faculty members and staff from  Office of International Relations participating in the meeting.

The meeting summarized the progress of academic projects and cooperation with various colleges in the People's Republic of China through the Jingshi Institute and with assistance from HUATEC. Additionally, they have monitored progress and planned for the exchange of short-term faculty and students, as well as discussed future academic cooperation, particularly in technology, unmanned aerial vehicles (Drone Technology and Drone Health Care), and joint development of health service centers with Chinese traditional medicine practitioners. This collaboration has been guided by the policy of mutual benefit, set by the President Professor, Dr. Jutturit Thongpron , to leverage the technological advancements of the People's Republic of China for mutual development with RMUTL University. This aligns with the development of future educational curricula that will meet the needs of the labor market and industrial sector in the future. Additionally, representatives visited laboratories focusing on control systems, robotics, and electric vehicles at Mae Fah Luang University, Doi Saket.
