Opening ceremony of Learning Express 2024 @Chiang Mai Campus

On March 26, 2024, Office of International Relations, Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna organized the opening ceremony of the Learning Express 2024 @Chiang Mai Campus project in collaboration with Singapore Polytechnic (SP). The event took place at the Innovation Room, 6th floor of the 56th Anniversary Building, Chiang Mai Campus. The ceremony was presided over by Associate Professor Dr. Teerasak Urajananon,Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs.

The Learning Express 2024 @Chiang Mai Campus, in collaboration with Singapore Polytechnic, marks the 9th program of the project since its inception in 2016 (Buddhist era 2559). This Program is scheduled from March 25 to April 5, 2024. The objective is to promote activities for students from both institutions (30 from SP and 30 from RMUTL) in the form of interdisciplinary teams to gain experience in creating social innovations. These innovations involve using design thinking skills along with teamwork, problem-solving, and English communication skills in multicultural contexts.

This Program's target communities are three: 1. Hua Fai Community (Waste Management), 2. Kiew La Paow Community (Local Product), and 3. Pong Community (Elderly’s Wellbeing) in Ban Kad Subdistrict, Mae Wang District, Chiang Mai Province. A total of 75 students, professors, and staff from both SP and Lanna Campus participated in the project.
