Cultural Study Activity for Exchange Students from Guangxi Normal University

On August 25, 2026, Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna (RMUTL), by the Office of International Relations, organized a Cultural Study Activity for four master’s degree exchange students from Guangxi Normal University, People’s Republic of China. The students are participating in an exchange program at the Master of Fine Arts Program in Fine Arts and Creative Design, Faculty of Fine Arts, Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna, during the first semester of the 2026 academic year.

The activity aims to enhance students’ Thai communication skills for everyday use while providing them with knowledge and a deeper understanding of Thai culture, traditions, and way of life. This will help the students adapt appropriately to Thai society and their learning environment. The activity also provides opportunities for students to exchange cultural perspectives, build friendships, and develop skills for living together in a multicultural society.

The Cultural Study Activity consists of five sessions, held from August 25 to October 6, 2026, at Meeting Room 404, Faculty of Fine Arts and Architecture, Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna, Chiang Mai. The activities cover basic Thai language, Thai manners and culture, as well as practical information and useful knowledge for everyday life in Thailand.

The organization of this activity reflects Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna’s commitment to promoting internationalization, fostering an inclusive learning environment that embraces cultural diversity, and supporting the development of international students through meaningful academic and cultural experiences. It also serves as an important foundation for strengthening mutual understanding, friendship, and sustainable educational cooperation between Thailand and the People’s Republic of China.
