On 21 May 2025, Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna (RMUTL), by Office of International Relations, Office of the President, hosted a meeting with H.E. Mr. Jonathan Kings, Ambassador of New Zealand to Thailand. The meeting was held at Sompho Meeting Room, 2nd Floor, Office of the President Building, RMUTL.
The meeting was presided over by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Teerasak Urajananon, Vice President for Council Affairs. Also in attendance were Asst. Prof. Dr. Thitibhorn Phanthachang, Assistant to the President, RMUTL faculty members who are alumni of New Zealand universities, participants of collaborative programs with New Zealand, and staff from the Office of International Relations.
The purpose of the meeting was to present an overview of RMUTL’s ongoing academic collaborations with New Zealand institutions and to explore future opportunities for cooperation. Key topics of discussion included student and staff exchange programs, English language development initiatives, and joint research in relevant academic fields.
Following the meeting, the delegation visited the exhibition at the Faculty of Fine Arts and Architecture, Jedyod Campus, RMUTL. The exhibition showcased creative works by students and faculty members, promoting cultural and artistic exchange between the two countries.
