MOU signing ceremony with Lanna Polytechnic College and HUATEC

On May 13, 2025, Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna (RMUTL), through the Office of International Relations, hosted a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony and an academic collaboration meeting with Lanna Polytechnic College, Chiang Mai, and Beijing Huatec Information Technology Co., Ltd. (HUATEC), People’s Republic of China. The event was held at Meeting Room 2, 4th Floor, Library Building, RMUTL, Chiang Mai.

The ceremony was graciously presided over by Assoc. Prof. Wichet Thipprasert, Acting President of RMUTL, with the attendance of Asst. Prof. Pisit Wimonthanasit, Vice President for Planning, Policy, and Strategy, Asst. Prof. Samarn Daowiangkan, Assistant Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, as well as staff from the Office of International Relations who served as witnesses to the signing.

From Beijing Huatec Information Technology Co., Ltd. (HUATEC):

  1. Ms. Liu Tianjiao – General Manager, International Education Technology Branch

  2. Ms. Ma Yanping – Chief of Operation Department, International Education Technology Branch

  3. Ms. Luo Shasha – Director of ASEAN Business Strategy, International Education Technology Branch

This collaboration marks a significant step forward in strengthening academic potential, technology, and innovation, all of which play a vital role in developing a highly skilled workforce to meet future industrial demands both nationally and internationally.The synergy among government agencies, educational institutions, and private sector partners from abroad will facilitate the sharing of resources, knowledge, and valuable experiences. This partnership will lead to enhanced teaching and learning models, training programs, research and development initiatives, as well as efficient student and staff exchange opportunities—laying a solid foundation for future-ready education in the digital age.
