Meeting to Discuss and Propose Strategic Plans for RMUTL's Internationalization Initiatives under the Higher Education Excellence Development and High-Level Workforce Program (Reinventing University) 2026

On December 25, 2024, Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna (RMUTL), by Office of International Relations, organized a meeting to discuss and propose strategic plans for RMUTL’s internationalization initiatives under the Reinventing University Program for the year 2026. The meeting, held at the Kasalong Meeting Room, 2nd Floor, Office of the President Building, RMUTL, was honored by the presence of Assistant Professor Dr. Anon Numin, who presided over the session. Participants included Assistant Professor Thitiporn Pantachang, Assistant to the President; Mr. Sutthisak Sukumsr, Assistant to the Presidentrepresentatives of the university’s management; faculty and staff involved in international relations from all faculties and colleges; the Strategic Planning Unit (SPU); and staff from the Office of International Relations. The meeting aimed to establish a framework for university transformation and develop strategic proposals for the 2026-2028 period.
The session featured a presentation on the university’s development framework by the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Research, and Academic Services. This was followed by strategic presentations from the Office of International Relations, the Faculty of Engineering, the Faculty of Business Administration and Liberal Arts, the Faculty of Fine Arts, the Faculty of Science, and the College of Technology and Interdisciplinary Studies. Additionally, strategies for fostering entrepreneurship through the Design Thinking process were presented, focusing on general education and professional curricula.
In the afternoon, the meeting focused on analyzing infrastructure gaps in international strategy and entrepreneurship development. This session included presentations and group discussions aimed at identifying gaps and formulating project proposals. The collaborative group activities facilitated the creation of diverse and comprehensive proposals, contributing to the effective and sustainable development of the university.
The meeting concluded successfully, with high expectations that the proposals and directions established will significantly advance the university’s development in the coming years.
