From November 7 to 18, 2024, five lecturers from Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna (RMUTL) were invited by Nanhua University (NHU), Taiwan, to serve as facilitators for the Slow Movement x Design Thinking Workshop 2024 held at NHU.
The workshop gathered over 43 students from RMUTL, University of Phayao, Chiang Mai Rajabhat University (Mae Hong Son Campus), and NHU, creating a rich intercultural learning environment. The program aimed to deepen students’ understanding of community challenges by focusing on the principles of slow movement and design thinking.
The workshop emphasized collaborative student engagement and the development of leadership skills through meaningful teamwork. Students were inspired to take concrete, cooperative actions that contribute to sustainable development goals, while building lasting friendships and international networks among young leaders from diverse institutions.
This initiative reflects the commitment of higher education institutions to foster global partnerships and develop educational resources that empower students to become agents of positive change in their communities and beyond.
