On November 6-7, 2024, Ms. Rungaroon Kantawang, Head of Office of International Relations, attended a workshop titled “Enhancing Leadership Skills”. The event was organized by the Office of the President, Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna, at Ruen Racha Resort, Mae Rim District, Chiang Mai. The workshop aimed to develop leadership skills and enhance the capacity of personnel to prepare them for organizational management.
The program featured lectures on “Effective Leadership” and “Inspiration Techniques”, delivered by Ms. Kulda Pruthiwat, a professional nurse and former president of the Nursing Association for Infectious Disease Prevention and Control. The sessions focused on understanding the roles of effective leaders and strategies for inspiring team members to foster collaborative and efficient teamwork.
Additionally, Assistant Professor Dr. Siraprapa Chainetr, Director of the Office of the President, addressed “Management Strategies within the Office of the President”, covering topics such as work planning, budgeting, and the establishment of key performance indicators (KPIs) to enhance organizational capacity and performance evaluation.
Assistant Professor Supachai Akkaranarakul, Director of the Office of Educational Quality Assurance, gave a lecture on defining departmental KPIs and individual performance indicators, emphasizing their importance in assessing work outcomes.
The seminar brought together directors and department heads from the Office of the President, providing an opportunity for shared learning and experience exchange. This initiative aimed to foster leadership potential and strengthen the support units driving the university’s progress.
