On October 22, 2024, Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna (RMUTL), by Office of International Relations , held a send-off ceremony for 13 students who received scholarships to participate in the "Slow Movement x Design Thinking Workshop" at Nanhua University (NHU) in Taiwan. The workshop will take place from October 26 to November 21, 2024. The program aims to promote a deeper understanding and appreciation of the challenges faced by our communities, emphasizing the principles of slow movement and design thinking. It seeks to inspire students to take clear, impactful actions and contribute to sustainable development while building leadership skills and fostering friendships among young leaders from various institutions.
The ceremony was held at the Kasalong Conference Room, 2nd floor of the Office of the President. It was presided over by Associate Professor Dr. Uthen Kamnarn, Acting President of RMUTL, along with Assistant Professor Siraprapa Chainetr, Assistant to the President, Assistant Professor Dr. Thitibhorn Phantachang, Assistant to the President, Associate Professor Dr. Kanthana Ditkaew, Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration and Liberal Arts, and Dr. Noppadol Maneethian, Director of the College of Integrated Science and Technology. They all gave speeches and advice to the students participating in the program. Additionally, faculty members from the Faculty of Business Administration and Liberal Arts, including lecturers Miss Kritika Inta, MissAphasri Tewata, Miss Sumana Sorathiwa, Assistant Professor Thamnanoon Bupte Lecturer of College of Integrated Science and Technology and staff from the International Relations Office, also attended to offer guidance and prepare the students for their journey.
