Meeting with University of Otago, New Zealand

On July 17, 2024, Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna (RMUTL), by Office of International Relations and Faculty of Engineering, held a meeting with a delegation from University of Otago, New Zealand. Dr. Balazs Kiglics, International Programmes Development Adviser. The meeting was honored by the presence of Mr.Akksatcha Dungsupasin, Vice President for Student Affairs and Alumni Relations, along with Assistant Professor Dr. Thitibhorn Phantachang, Assistant to the President, Assistant Professor Dr. Piyamas Tancharoenrat, Dean of  Faculty of Science and Agricultural Technology, and Assistant Professor Dr. Supornphan Konchiab, Lecturer of  Faculty of Business Administration and Liberal Arts, as well as staff from Office of International Relations. The meeting was held in the Sompo Conference Room, 2nd floor, President Office Building, RMUTL.
The meeting discussed future academic collaborations and activities between the two universities. These include staff development, joint curriculum development at the undergraduate level, student and staff exchanges, as well as postgraduate studies and scholarships at the University of Otago. The University of Otago is the oldest public university in New Zealand, renowned for its distinguished A-rated faculty members from New Zealand and around the world who teach and conduct research recognized internationally. The university offers courses in four main disciplines: Humanities, Health Science, Sciences, and Business. Located in Dunedin, known as a "university city," it is a highly livable and safe city with a reasonable cost of living, making it a popular destination for students from around the globe.
