The Office of International Relations, under the Office of the President, was first established at Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna on 1 October 2006. It is responsible for coordinating and implementing activities that promote international relations, fostering international cooperation projects, and providing support, coordination, and services related to scholarships, training, seminars, study visits, and overseas activities. These efforts aim to enhance the capabilities of students and staff and to advance academic development toward internationalization.
The Office has been officially placed under the Office of the President since 12 October 2023.

Support the development of international programs by faculties, colleges, and the School of General Education and Electronic Learning (SUK. Lampang).
Strengthen existing networks and expand new networks to support staff training, internships, and further studies.
Support continuous collaborative activities and projects with partner universities.
Promote the development of foreign language skills for students and staff.
Serve as the central unit for communication with domestic and international organizations, coordinating and implementing cooperation projects involving education, training, faculty and student exchanges, study visits, academic conferences, and cultural exchanges.
Serve as the central unit responsible for protocol services, including receiving foreign guests and organizing study visits for international delegations.
Provide consultation and coordination regarding scholarships, training programs, research grants, and study visit opportunities offered by partner universities.
Assist and facilitate international experts, students, and visitors in matters related to accommodation, study, living arrangements, work permits, and visas.
Develop and maintain a database of international cooperation to support partnership-building and to showcase university activities and information to international audiences.
Monitor and evaluate international cooperation projects, scholarship allocations, and other international activities to support university planning.
